MK Dons have confirmed the appointment of Crawley Town boss John Yems as their new head coach. Yems, who has been in charge of Crawley since December 2019, has signed a two-year deal with the League One club.
The 52-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously worked as an assistant manager at Bournemouth and as a coach at Chelsea.
Speaking about his appointment, Yems said: “I am delighted to be joining MK Dons and am looking forward to the challenge of leading the team in League One. I have been impressed by the club’s ambition and am excited to work with the talented squad of players.”
Chairman Pete Winkelman added: “We are thrilled to have John on board as our new head coach. His track record speaks for itself and we believe he is the right person to take the club forward.”
Yems will take charge of his first game as MK Dons head coach on Saturday when they face Ipswich Town at Stadium MK.
